2. The application guidelines of aluminum electrolytic capacitor

2.1 Circuit design

First of all, please make sure the use of capacitor and installation conditions (must) whether meet our offer of technical specification conditions;

Working temperature and pressure ripple current must comply with the requirements of the technical specification;

In the circuit design, must choose to meet the requirements of the service life of capacitor;

Pay attention to make sure the aluminum electrolytic capacitor won’t  be against, will result in a design feature is not implemented and capacitor invalid in short time;

Over-voltage condition ensures that capacitors are not used; this will lead to a sharp drop of service time of the capacitor;

In the circuit design, the need to keep far away from heat capacitor, high temperature environment will lead to capacitor

 drop down;

Selection when switching power supply's output smoothing capacitor, in order to curb output ripple current, selected capacitor equivalent series resistance (ESR), the smaller the better, but using ESR capacitor with small output voltage of the abnormal oscillation may occur.

To prevent oscillations of the output voltage, in general negative feedback on the line, phase need to keep 30 to 40 degrees leftover above.

Phase leftover is to the lower limit of phase to-180 degree numerical, The smaller of the phase leftover, The performance differences of the component and Temperature changes caused the oscillation by the possibility of more.

Through the use of the phase of the error amp line feedback correction, can prevent the output voltage of the oscillation.

2.2 To install

Once the capacitors installed on machines, and power on, even if the capacitor is discharge  but there is still electrical potential difference between its two terminals, do not use the hands or other parts of the body to contact ;

To discharge the capacitor, pls discharge with a resistance 1k at least, do not use metal wires directly shorted the two terminals of a capacitor to discharge;

Before the load capacitor circuit board, must be confirmed polarity;

Don't let the capacitor drop to the ground; also do not use capacitor dropped.

The Screw Terminal in the installation must be close to the circuit board (without leaving gaps between the bottom of capacitor and circuit boards;

2.3 In the case of emergency

If you see the smoke after the explosion-proof valve is open, please turn off the power immediately;

When the explosion-proof valve is open, do not face closer to the capacitor, because gives off gases temperature reaches more than 100 ° c, once the gas into the eyes, please washing immediately with clean water;

2.4 Store

Suggested the capacitor will be stored in the 5-30 °C and relative humidity less than 75% of the environment;

Storing capacitor leakage current could increase a year later, please contact the manufacturer to assist in handling the matter;

Confirm storage environment won't appear: water, water vapor, oil, salt water, acid and alkali gas, metal dust etc;
